Preschoolers at Drop-A-Tot develop skills that will assist them throughout their years of formal education and beyond. Through the use of learning Centers, children have the opportunity to interact with others and work in teams. The Center features a variety of themes and include activities such as art, reading, manipulative exercises, and puzzle-building, just to name a few. We involve our preschoolers in a number of games that encourage eye/hand coordination. They also begin using computers on a regular basis. For our preschoolers, lifelong learning begins here.
We take pride in the fact that our Pre-kindergarten students are well prepared for school. Lessons are theme-based and include activities in the areas of math, science, reading and art. Students participate in group activities as well as one-on-one learning sessions with teachers. In our Pre-K program, children learn letters and numbers and continue to develop their computer skills. Our curriculum also includes interesting and fun lessons in areas such as cooking, crafts and weather studies. And, ofcourse, as with our other programs, Pre-K children at Drop-A-Tot have plenty of opportunity to run and play with their friends.
